Did you hear about the banker who was recently arrested for embezzling $100,000 to pay for his daughter’s college education?
As the policeman, who also had a daughter in college, was leading him away in handcuffs, he said to the banker, “I have just one question for you— Where were you going to get the rest of the money?”

A little girl stayed for dinner at the home of her first-grade friend. The vegetable was buttered broccoli and the mother asked if she liked it.
“Oh, yes ma’am,” she replied, “I love it”.
But when the bowl of broccoli was passed she declined to take any.
“I thought you said you loved broccoli.”
The girl replied, “Oh, yes Ma’am, I do, but not enough to eat it!”
At the local cafe there was a big sign posted. “No bills larger than $20 will be accepted.”
The woman in front of us, pointing to the sign, remarked, “Believe me, if I HAD a bill larger than $20, I wouldn’t be eating here.”
