For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
This may be the most well-known verse in the Bible. We should learn and teach this verse, but it is not enough to simply memorize the verse. We must believe this in our heart and accept Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. Here are simple steps to salvation following the Romans Road.
A — Admit that you are a sinner. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
B — Believe in your heart. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
C — Confess with your mouth. “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:10-11)
We are looking at things we should learn and teach. Salvation is the most important thing we need to know. Accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and don’t be ashamed to tell others about Jesus.
