Watch Over Us, God
Watch over us, God, as only You can do,
We’re asking Thy power to carry us through;
The storm we’re in is having violent rages,
We know, dear God, You’re the Rock of ages!
Watch over us, God, as this storm passes by,
Keep our heart safe, as on Your name we cry;
The winds are blowing with great downpour,
Peace be still, is spoken to us from the Lord!
Watch over us, God, be the Guide of our helm,
Keep us protected from being overwhelmed;
Wrap us in Your arms with great loving care,
We’ve nothing to fear as long as You’re there!
Watch over us, God, amid this violent storm,
Help us see the Light keeping our spirit warm;
A calming quiet after the storm will come,
Giving Victory, for by God’s hand it’s done!
