God Brought Salvation
God thought salvation, many years ago,
Knowing man would fail in His way to go;
His loving heart knew man needed His help,
A remedy to keep our sinful soul from Hell!
God brought salvation, by the Saviour’s birth,
He sent His own Son to dwell upon earth;
He lived among man, then died on the cross,
His blood paid the price for everyone lost!
God wrought salvation on Calvary’s cross,
As Christ gave His life for none to be lost;
Anyone who asks Him into their heart,
Is redeemed by One who never departs!
Man ought to listen as Jesus says, Come in,
His power today still saves souls from sin;
He provides eternal life for every soul,
A forgiven heart is happy and whole!
