The Most Precious Gift
The most precious gift ever given to man,
Came in swaddling clothes by God’s own hand;
A manger was the place of this lowly birth,
His life was filled with glory, power, & worth!
The precious gift the world would soon see,
Was Jesus Christ living, meeting others needs;
Sent to earth to learn how man lived & felt,
Anything He touched became completely well!
The most precious gift, full of compassion,
Astonished hearts by His Godly fashion;
He shed His blood on the old rugged tree,
God’s sacrifice for us changed our eternity!
The most precious gift anyone can know,
Is the Saviour, who redeems lost souls;
The gift of salvation & pardon from sin,
Is given to all who ask Him to come in!
