Most Important Mother’s Day

I was thinking about my mother and could not help to rember all she did for me growing up. Now with a family as large as ours we didn’t get a lot of individual attention, unless we were sick. But mother loved us all andwe knew it. She knew how to wipe our tears and turn a sad day into a happy one. She could stop the hurting of a bee sting by putting some snuff on it. She could feed all us with beans, fried taters, cornbread and ice tea. We loved it. Still do.

Sometimes I sure miss her and would enjoy one of those meals, sitting around the table taling and laughing. the most important thing I learned is to enjoy each day because we never know what tomorrow will bring.

Thank God for memories and for giving me a great mother.

Happy Mother Day
