I’m so thankful for the day I met the Lord! KI
I’ll Take Jesus
I’ll take Jesus, I asked Him to come in,
His blood washed away my every sin;
He purged me from a vile, sinful life,
I cherish the day I met Jesus Christ!
I’ll take Jesus, over silver and gold,
My life, in His hand, He securely holds;
He speaks Peace if a violent storm rages,
My feet are secure on the Rock of ages!
I’ll take Jesus, who gave me eternal life,
On the cross, He paid the ultimate price;
When I met Jesus, He came in to dwell,
Salvation keeps me from going to Hell!
I’ll take Jesus, He oversees my life,
Leading my steps by the path of Light;
If I’m weak, His grace makes me strong,
When I chose the Lord, I didn’t go wrong!
