Calm my heart, God, from the cares of today;
Give my spirit peace, in Thy loving way;
For each one of the devil’s wicked snares,
Wrap me inside Thy tender loving care!
Calm my heart, God, in every step I take,
Direct all my ways by mercy & grace;
Fill me with wisdom in all that I do,
So my life radiates, displaying You!
Calm my heart, God, from the words I hear,
Even those that make me cry many tears;
You are my shelter where I can abide,
I’m safe & secure with You by my side!
Calm my heart, God, whatever I may face,
Thank you for giving me abundant grace;
I don’t need to worry if it’s in Your hands,
You’ll take care of all I don’t understand!
