Sometimes we see a need and say “someone needs to help.” That someone may be you.

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. 2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. 4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. 5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. 6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. 7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. 8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: 9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. 10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, 11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you, 11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
I. The Harvest is Plentiful
We carry hope to the world because eternity is at stake.
70% of Georgia people don’t go to church any time. Ga. Baptist Asst.
One-Third Fewer Americans Attends Church Weekly Now Than in 1993 Evidence of a shifting religious landscape is made even clearer when viewed solely through the lens of church attendance.
II. Jesus is Lord of the Harvest
He owns the whole world we are His laborers. Caring hope to you so that you can know the one who gives hope.
III. Beg God to Provide verse 2 pray
A. We are sent into the land of wolves
Matthew 10:16 “1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
”1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”?Your best and only defense is God’s Word.
B. We come in peace
Genesis 1: 27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” we need to see them as made in the image of God.
John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”?And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth
John 1:17″For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”?For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ
C. We focus on the Kingdom
The harvest is plentiful, and the harvest is here!
Romans 10:14-15″How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”?How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
We can do good deeds but we are called to share the Gospel.
Our good deeds are useless—unless we share Jesus to them.
Some people have never heard about Jesus. (Ricky talking to 15 year old)
Next Steps
