God covers our heart from Calvary’s cross,
By the blood Jesus shed for all the lost;
He sacrificed His one and only Son,
He knew that man was lost & undone!
God covers our heart when we ask Him in,
Forgiving and erasing every sin;
The blood of Jesus keeps our soul from Hell,
The second He comes within us to dwell!
God covers our heart in His loving Way,
As He comes inside, within us to stay;
He won’t remind us of forgiven sins,
But guides our steps to stay close to Him!
God covers our heart as only He can,
We’re very blessed to be led by His hand;
It’s such a blessing, He’ll never depart,
Praise God! Jesus’ blood still covers our heart!
