The battle of your mind happens each day,
It has lots to do with the words you say;
You’ll become what your mind thinks about,
Thinking on God will make you sing & shout!
Get rid of evil thoughts, keep good ones in,
Godly thoughts come as a focus on Him;
Put restrictions on them each day you live,
Trust in God for the loving grace He gives!
Satan, the Father of untruth and lies,
Does all he can to torment any mind;
He even tempted Jesus Christ to sin,
Jesus used God’s Word for victory then!
As a man thinks in His heart, so is he,
Bring it all to Christ, lay it at His feet;
He loves you, in spite of any mistakes,
His presence, in you, He never forsakes!
