Watch & pray, seek God’s wisdom in each day,
Ask Him to guide you in His righteous Way;
He always listens when His children cry,
Tending to us from His throne on High!
Watch & pray, in this world of sin & wrong,
His presence in us keeps our spirit strong;
The devil tries to hurt us by his wiles,
Victory is ours in God’s gracious style!
Watch & pray in whatever comes our way,
God will be there, giving grace every day;
In all that happens, God leads us through,
If we’re perplexed, He knows just what to do!
Watch & pray, the rapture is drawing near,
As the trumpet sounds, we’ll be out of here;
Christ will come back for His awaiting Bride,
We’ll go to Heaven, our new Home on High!
