The more we’re like Him, less of us we see,
His Godly Ways, our heart badly needs;
If we ask Him to fill us deep inside,
He does wonderful things in our life!
To be more like God, our longing each day,
That He’ll guide our steps, all we do & say;
When we leave it all inside His hands,
He works above what we can understand!
To be more like Him, more content we’ll be,
As He remolds our life and testimony;
He knows we get weak, & at times, fail,
But God’s loving grace will always prevail!
Yes, to be like Him, is our heart’s desire,
Filled with His Ways, thoughts much higher;
When our heart, mind, & soul, focus on Him,
We see our loving God, also a Faithful Friend!
