We Can’t Pay Him Back
We can’t pay Him back for all He has done,
For every blessing, each new day begun;
God doesn’t expect payback from us,
But He’s the One we can fully trust!
We can’t pay Him back for doing so much,
For helping us when we truly need His touch;
He knows the right things to say and do,
There’s nothing His grace won’t bring us thru!
We can’t pay Him back, & He worries not,
That’s how it’s always been with our God;,
He gave His only Son, to be our risen Lord,
We can praise His name, now & evermore!
We can’t pay Him back, for Christ on the cross,
To pay for our sin, that we’re saved, not lost;
He gives us much more than we can repay,
One of the joys we know from being saved!
