The Christ Of Christmas
Christ is the reason Christmas ever began,
When He came to earth as a mortal man;
Our Savior lay in the manger back then,
Then died on Calvary to pay for every sin!
Christ came from Heaven to live among men,
He became our Redeemer & Faithful Friend;
Tempted & tried, yet He never did any wrong,
He understands our frame & helps us along!
Christmas is a sweet day of celebration,
Remembering the Christ of our salvation;
We exchange gifts on this wonderful day,
He gave everything, that we might be saved!
Christ is the reason Christmas began long ago,
Without Him, there’d be no Savior to know;
He fulfilled God’s will, concerning man & sin,
It’ll be a sweet day, when we behold Him!
