Not My Will, But Thine
Not my will, but Thine is what Jesus prayed,
Asking God for help in what to do & say;
God’s direction is wise & always will be,
His compassion also meets every need!
Not my will, but Thineis sought in submission,
That God will approve by His permission;
Anything being led by His loving hand,
Will turn out better than we’ll understand!
Not my will, but Thine, Christ prayed to God above,
Everything He did was by Godly love;
His love, even today, has never ran out,
That, by itself, should make us sing & shout!
Not my will, but Thine, should stay in our heart,
That God will lead us from daylight to dark;
Living within God’s perfect, holy will,
Makes our heart inside blessed & fulfilled!
