Jesus Chose The Cross
Jesus chose the cross to remove the curse,
So things for man, didn’t keep getting worse;
Sin had become so prevalent and strong,
He hung on the cross for everyone’s wrong!
Jesus chose the cross, sin’s price to be paid,
That lost souls, thru His blood, might be saved;
He took on Himself our punishment for sin,
Providing the Way for man to be born again!
Jesus became the sacrificial death,
As on the cross, He drew His final breath;
Laid in the grave for three days & nights,
Then the stoned rolled away with Jesus alive!
Jesus built a bridge between God & all men,
To restore a lasting fellowship with Him;
Our Redeemer and Lord is holy and Divine,
The Rock to stand on & the Light that shines!
