Ask Help of the Lord
Ask help of the Lord, He’ll answer us right,
The prayers of His children bring Him delight;
His Word tells us to Ask and receive,
Oh, the blessings He gives to those who believe!
Ask help of the Lord, His power is strong,
His hand is still able to make right from wrong;
He gives us the privilege to bow in prayer,
It’s one of the many ways He shows loving care!
Ask help of the Lord, even the smallest need,
Our life, each day, He lovingly oversees,
In the raging storm, He gives peace that lasts,
He knows what we need before we even ask!
Ask help of the Lord, He’ll be there every time,
Giving wisdom & grace to the heart, soul, & mind;
There’s nothing like the loving care He gives,
Help from the Lord makes life better to live!
