He’s Our Chief Shepherd
He’s our chief Shepherd, over everyone else,
It’s His loving grace that keeps our soul from Hell;
He hung on the cross for the lost to be saved,
Then arose from the grave after only three days!
The glorious coming of our Shepherd is near,
Amidst clouds of glory, He’ll soon appear;
We’ll see Him as He is & become like Him,
Our Savior, Redeemer, & faithful Friend!
The crowning of our chief Shepherd we’ll see,
When He appears in glory and majesty;
He’ll give us a crown of glory Himself,
When He takes us Home, forever to dwell!
The glory of His compassion is there,
It never leaves us, for God truly cares;
It will be a glorious celebration,
As we praise God, who brought our salvation!
